The heart of this annual fundraiser is to spread joy and excitement during the darkest time of the year by offering a chance for you to grow zinnia seed directly from our farm’s breeding program. By contributing to this fundraiser, you are also tangibly helping us to continue our work this season, and bring new and exciting cut flower varieties to your gardens and farms in the seasons ahead!
Donations we receive will help support the continuation of our zinnias and many other very exciting cut flower breeding projects in 2025, with the goal of making new open pollinated varieties abundantly available for purchase through retail market channels as soon as the seeds are ready.
In an effort to make this current opportunity available to as many people as possible regardless of circumstances, and to reduce stress or feelings of scarcity that can arise when exciting new plants are offered online, we need your help! Please read ALL the information provided below and on each variety description so you understand exactly what we are offering in thanks for your support, and what your options are for participating.
Please note, there is a LIMIT OF ONE PACKET per person for our new 2025 varieties. If you place more than one packet of these seeds into your donation checkout basket, you will still only receive ONE packet. Any additional packets you donate towards will go into our annual Spring seed giveaway, so that those who cannot afford to contribute financially this season will have a chance to grow our seeds.

Shipping: While we welcome all support during this fundraiser, unfortunately we are not be able to ship seeds outside the US at this time. Our sincerest apologies to all our friends and followers abroad! If you live outside the US but have friends here, we are happy to arrange to send your thank you gift to them if you provide their shipping address.

If you do not have the financial stability to contribute to this fundraiser, but deeply want to grow our seeds, we still want you to have a chance to do so! Each spring we hold a seed giveaway, and you can enter by contacting us here—simply put “Summer Solstice” in the subject line, and provide a working email address (where we can contact you if your name is drawn), and we will enter your name in the raffle. Please note this giveaway is specifically for those who do not have the financial means to contribute to receive seeds. This year’s raffle will be held Saturday, April 5TH, and recipients will be contacted on April 6th. Each spring with the help of generous support from fellow flower lovers and donors, we giveaway 50-100 packets of our seeds to those in need of beauty who cannot afford to participate in our fundraiser!
